First one I really took pics of. Simple 000 - Sitka top, African Mahogany B/S, Zig-zag Back strip, Abalone Rosette, EIR headstock plate, end graft and heel cap, ebony fretboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle. No bindings.

Great looking guitar; nicely made. I have not been brave enough to inlay into anything other than ebony; your inlay and the rest of your detail work is really clean.

I agree with John about inlaying in something other than ebony, no room for error. Nice looking guitar!

Understated and functional,.......I like it! How do you like the sound? Similar to Honduran Mahogany?

Thanks All. I've built all my guitars so far with no binding. It has forced me to slow down and be more accurate (one of my faults) because there is less room for error. I did have to use an end wedge this time (1st time in four) because I had a little joint separation I had to cover up. I have four guitars in various stages right now and plan to bind them all. Strangely this is the part that scares me most now, I guess because I haven't yet.

It sounds really nice to me, different than I thought it would ( a little deeper). The note separation is very clear and distinct more so to me than the others but they were dreds and this is a 000. Maybe that's it. Don't know if my hearing skills are good enough to tell the difference between African and Honduran Hog (haven't built one using Honduran but I do have one in process now).

Interesting Tim.

I'll be curious what difference you see (if any) in the bound guitars vs unbound.

I've never not bound a guitar, but it seems to me that the box takes on a more resonant tap tone after I've put the bindings on. I've never done any extensive testing, but I've always been curious what difference, if any, binding has on the sound of a guitar.
