Very impressive, very nice.
So which do you like building better; steel string or classical?
Kevin
Thank you.
Even though I play classical, I like building the steel string more. I can add more bling and the steel string guys like it. The classical guys would roll their eyes. My guitar teacher rolled his eyes when he saw the very small 7th fret side dot on my first classical. So on the steel strings I can leave the insides alone and play with the outsides.
I am going to move my classical guitars to mortise and tenon necks, I will leave the inside spanish slipper the same I will just have it and the neck as two pieces. I am also going to play with a slightly radiused fret board. I have been reading about newer classical bracing schemes and will try some of them. I am not sure any of them beat the Torres sound (mainly because it defines the classical sound). Most of the effort has been to make louder guitars for concert halls with out straying to far from that sound.
I will keep building both.
