Dale Bartholomew did this burst for me on a 000-12 and a 14 fret dred. I used pearl and tortise . a design feature I copied from Jimmie Edmonds of Galax Va.

VERY nice. I haven't done a burst on an acoustic yet...just waiting for the right one.

Nice guitar John! Looks like you are almost getting the hang of this guitar building thing! LOL
Nice burst too! The back strip with the line...is that a reinforcement strip, or the actual backstrip of the guitar?

I like to purdy up the inside , it is tortoise with a b/w/b on the sides. I lay that in about .040 deep before I round the back cross strip. It makes for a more finish look

I'm not a burst fan, but this is a very nice one. I like the purdy too on the inside and the outside.
