Koa/Bearclaw OM, Not-buffed

Post by Dan Bombliss »

Here's my latest build, my buddy snapped a couple quick pictures and they turned out "ok". The lacquer sprayed on it right now is straight out of the gun, not wet sanded or buffed yet. I'm waiting a few more weeks for it to cure before I do buff it, once that's done I'll update with some more, more professional pictures.

Very nice. I really like the back neck to head stock transition.

I wish I was working with Tim Mcknight! Haha, his wife actually mailed me that shirt, and I wear it regularly.

Next up on the build list for this summer are 2 J-185's, a Claro Walnut and an Indian Rosewood, I'm contemplating attempting an arm bevel on the rosewood one. Just trying to scrounge some cash for tools so I can get started.
