Nice guitar, I really like the black limba with the zibra wood binding. It gives the guitar a really classic look. Thanks for posting. Now I have another back and side wood that I want to try.

Nice looking guitar. How long has he been playing it? It's got a bit of wear on the fretboard already! I have some black limba waiting to become a guitar, but it is lighter with orange streaks. Really nice stuff.

Nice nice John,
so you are using the old "pizza oil so the strings don't squeak trick" huh!
I tried that once, but my music started sounding like Italian ballads.

Nice looking guitar, John. I like the idea of using pizza oil on the fingerboard too, unless you have pets....nothing like playin fresh-licked strings!

Good looking, John. The zebra binding appears a bit like the wengé I used. The Wengé tends to split while bending. Does the zebra bend easily? My woodstore has a lot of zebra planks around for litlle. So maybe I should try that nice looking binding too.
I would like it to buy it from you, but the shipping costs to Holland are skyhigh at the moment. Sorry for that.

Again, great lookin guitar!
I have bent a binch of zebra, and it does bend well...though I find it needs to be a few thousandths thinner than padauk or rosewood, and watch for checking in the wood....it does tend to split naturally, and the selection will really depend on who you get it from.
