Got it done today minus an action adjustment at the nut and saddle. I'll do it in a few days.

So it's EIR back and sides.
Sitka spruce top
Honduran Mahogany neck M & T bolt on.
Screwed down fretboard extension
Ebony fretboard, bridge and headplate.
Macauaba back plate
BWB purfling with maple binding and end wedge.
Abalone and BWB purflings rosette
Bone nut, saddle and pins
Nickel frets and chrome Gohto tuners.
Cheap plastic pick guard. 😁
JJB passive piezo pickup
Teddy Bear reflections on the back 😁
This one is going to India.

Peter, the wood is already starting to pile up on the bench

I'm thinking another OM with Indian Laurel B & S with a 3 piece very close grain dark redwood top. Curly maple binding and perhaps abalone top purfling and abalone rosette.
Sapele neck. Ebony headplate, ebony fretboard. Olive bridge. Olive backstrap and heel cap.

Maybe BW side purfling if I have enough. Probably an Olive burly endwedge. Perhaps no pick guard.
Gold frets and tuners?
Sounds like a pretty good plan. We'll see.

You are a credit to the craft Kevin! I love the understated elegance of this guitar, and your small personal trademarks to finish it off. And I don't think I noticed previously what a fine top it is. Well done indeed! Bruce W.

That's a beautiful guitar! I wonder what you mean by screwed down extension.

I started doing my own version of a system to attach the fretboard extension to the top using 2 machine screws rather than gluing it down. Along with a bolt on neck it makes easy neck removal if needed one day.

Had you not seen this one a previous build of mine? I believe I've done 4 thus far. It works great.

Cool. Thanks. Sounds familiar now that you mention it but my attn was probably on other things you were doing at the time. That's a great idea. I am getting pretty good at doing neck resets but the hardest part for me is to leave no trace in the finish when I'm done. I am nowhere near ready to take on high end factory guitar resets for this very reason.

Here it is in its case.
The new owner picks it up on Sept 9.
I'll do the final setup in a couple of weeks.
