Looks beautiful, cannot see any bindingproblems from here though.
Just put some snakewood bindings on my jumbo. Jee, that stuff is so hard and tough. Very unforgivable. Left me with some serious number of small gaps to fill.
You are not alone!

Darren,
Oh my gosh! I knew there was something I was forgetting!!!
Seriously, I think you are right about "one more fret". I hadn't really noticed, but it probably would look more finished with that 21st fret. I slotted the board and glued on the binding before I had decided how I was going to finish the fretboard end, so it was basically too late to add the fret, but it didn't even occur to me that it might need it. My first guitar I matched the soundhole shape with the fretboard end like on a classical. My second guitar I finished it short of the hole. The third guitar I did like this one, and even thought it is not conventional, I decided I kind of like it hanging over the hole a bit, so did it on this one too.
Thanks for the comments guys. YOU ALL know how much time and effort goes into this hobby. It does seem to be worth it in the end.
I think Stephen will be more than pleased to receive it.
Ken....I will see if Stephen will record something for it.....my playing is not up to it. :>)
I also wanted to say that there is no pick guard yet, as I'm leaving the choice of what if any up to Stephen.
I have clear, red tortise, and we can make one out of bloodwood, so we will see what he chooses. I would put the clear one on.

"Hey Mikey, He likes it!"
This guitar was received by it's new owner last night to wide eyed appreciative eyes.....what a joy to give it away.
It sounds great, and I know it will improve as it opens up.
Stephen has played all 4 of the guitars I've built, and he thinks they all have a certain "Sjostrand" sound :>)
I will try and put up a picture of Stephen receiving it, and maybe a sound clip of him playing. I took a video with my Blackberry last night, but the sound is terrible, so we will try something at the computer.

Here is a snapshot from the video of Stephen playing his new guitar. I am trying to figure out if there is a way to extract the sound from the video so I can post a small sound file here. I can't put the video up, we don't do You Tube, or Facebook or anything like that.
Anyone know of a free program for separating a sound track from a video?

This has been a long time coming, (hmmm, a little CSNY there).
The owner of the guitar is in the previous picture, and he is the one who made this recording. The guitar has a passive JJB under bridge transducer and he plugged it into his computer, no effects.
It is capoed up, but I don't know how much.
I hope you all can hear the file.

The guitar sounds great. It sure is fun to see the instruments we make getting used.
