rgogo65, here's a close-up picture of the headstock inlay:



My next project will be an OM cutaway with:

* Top: Bearclaw spruce
* B&S: Koa
* Fretboard: ebony
* Binding: Koa with b/w/b prufling

Let's hope that I can get the neck setting better this time from the start... Any tips? My main trouble is getting the right neck angle and being able to get a nice low string setup all through the fretboard.

I'll post a soundclip in the next few days. I think this dread sounds awesome. I met Jeff Watson (founding guitar player from the band Night Ranger at a party and a great guy) and he thought the guitar sounded really deep and warm, so that must be good sign

With "free form Dreadnaught" I meant not a standard "martin shaped dread". I didn't have a Dread mold when I started this project, so the cutaway is nor very curvy and the cutaway doesn't really end right at the neck. Lessons learned! Next project, I'm using a mold!
