Thanks!
The bindings and the pegboard veneer are West African ebony. The top is western redwood.

Very nice! Excellent work even if you did "cheat" and get yourself an instructor. LOL

Re: Hawaiian Koa parlor guitar reading for final sanding and
I finally started zpoxying this guitar. I was a bit cleaner than the last time I did this. I sort of have an idea of how much to mix up now, so that I do not have to take much off of the guitar after I feel the pores are filled.
On a second and third note because I have to wait for the zpoxy to cure I have time to start spraying another violin kit (the next one I will carve) for a niece. Also I have time to finish the braces on the classical guitar I am making. The rim and kerfling are finished and the rim is radiused as well so I hope to close it next week.

That is pretty Koa John, looking real good.
So the Zpoxy, are you sanding this back to the wood, or are you leaving a layer of epoxy on?

Thanks for looking
This is my second time with zpoxy. I really like it. It does not smell (too much). With a bit of work it is easy to push into the pores and I really like the look.
I sand back to the wood each and every coat. For one I think it sands out the bridges or bubbles over the pores that may sand out later. Also at the end I have a hard time sanding it so I do not go through to the wood somewhere. Also I do not feel confortable thinning it with alcohol and wiping it on (maybe I can be convinced).
I will put a couple of coats of shellac on before spraying with EM6000.
