Thanks from an old guy

Post by John Weiss »

As I approached "retirement" (lawyers never really retire) I took up building guitars. After almost 2 years I have completed 6 instruments and want to thank the members of this forum for their varied and informative discussions. Almost every question I had was answered somewhere on the site. In addition veterans like John Hall have been very helpful whenever I call his shop. Thank you to all who share their wisdom and experience on this site.
Here are a few shots of an old guy's efforts (forgive iphone distortion at times):

These days, a retreat to the shop is needed to retain some amount of emotional balance. We're fortunate to have that portal. The news outside makes heads explode.

(I, too, took to building guitars (nine and counting) as a finally-got-the-time activity after retirement. See above.)
