JRG #28 Flamed Walnut and Spruce

Hello,

Super happy with how the cut-away is looking on this Martin 0 style so I thought I'd share. I've slowed down over the
last year but this is #28 for my sweet neighbor who is an accomplished pianist but has never played guitar. Will be exciting to watch her learn and translate her musical skills.

I've been posting here since number #1 in the before times. You guys are awesome. I'll come back and post the final product.

Flamed Walnut and West Virginia Red Spruce from Diane's secret mountain.

Major tools to get to this point:

• drum sander
  Blues Creek side bending and binding jigs.
  stewmac dremel rosette cutter
  table saw
  properly sharpened chisel
  lots of klemsia clamps

It is looking fantastic! Nice work. That walnut will be a stunner with the final finish. I once saw a walnut Martin D-45 in the seventies, it was a knockout. I can’t wait to see the finished instrument!

Thanks guys! And yeah, I can't believe it either and keep having to check my notebook to believe it and remember where most of them the went off to. I went a little crazy those 1st couple of years but have a normal pace now. (I think, anyway!)
