Finish prep seminar

For those who may be interested I will be giving a presentation on proper finish preparation at the January Mid Atlantic Luthiers meeting on the 19th. Preparation is one of the most critical and overlooked steps of the finish process. Most finish failures can be traced back to the prep work. I will be covering everything between rough construction and the first coat of finish including strategies for defect repair and cover up and filler options for rosettes and wood purfling.
