Just out of curiosity, can one get half way through French polishing and decide, "That's too much work", and finish by spraying lacquer from rattle cans? If so, what to do about the oil?

Harold,
Robbie O'Brien claims his French Polishing schedule to be far less time and energy consuming.

Where can I find his schedule without buying his DVD?

Funny....I see the oposite. Laquer=spray, wait, buff. Real easy. French polish is workand quite a bit of it. Though I can get a French polish guitar off the bench and out the door in a shorter timeframe, it is much more work.
Can you spray lacquer over shellac? depends. Is your shellac de-waxed? is it fresh? if both answers are yes then you can spray lacquer over it.
