Pore Filler for Oregon Myrtle?

In your opinion do I need to pore fill Oregon Myrtle? or is the grain tight enough that I won't have to? Has anyone here worked with it before?

My primary concerns are 1) adding color to the wood (I really like it as is) and 2) Having trouble with the gloss nitro lacquer during the finishing process if I don't.

It looks pretty tight to me, but what do I know? On my first guitar I used a satin finish and left the mahogany pores open on purpose. I liked the way that looked.

Sorry I can't answer your question. I did want to point out that CA can be used as a pore filler and I've read where itdries clear without shading the wood. You may want to keep the clear aspect in mind as you select all the finish components as many have an amber or yellowish cast to them.
