Ive called behlen and where I purchased these from but I have 3 half full cans that when sprayed they start stop and spit out what looks like solid chunks of lacquer. Each one started out workin fine but then started acting like this. The cans are plenty warm and well mixed. I'm on a tight timeline to get this project finished( it's a gift). I suspect it's a bad batch all cans are the same lot. Any thoughts?

Did you clear the tip at the end of each session? That might be your problem, or you could be right and it is a bad batch.

Yes followed all instructions cleared the tip and even manually cleaned it out after nothing else worked. When it spits its almost solid not a drip but almost like a lacquer booger

I have no idea as it depends on many variables. One thing is to really shake this stuff .

I talked to the tech guys at behlen. First the cans have a shelf life of 3yrs. Second they think it was exposed to extreme temps somewhere along the trip to my house. This caused a gum resin to precipitate out of solution and that's what spitting out. Retailer is refunding me I found a local shop that carries it. I used a razor to remove the bumps sanded a bit and all is better now. Sprayed a fresh coat this evening. Everything looks much better

I am having the same problem now. Spit, spit, spit. Little lumps all over the surface. Cans have been stored at room temperature, no extremes. I'mpretty upset about this!!

have you tried soaking the cans in hot water? I've heard this helps.
