Using Stewmacs spray lacquer for a burst top,what next?

Ok. I will be using the rattle cans from Stewmac to sunburst my top. The back/sides are pore filled w zpoxy, so what is my best brush on water-based option to finish the rest of the box? Or am I limiting myself by using the spray cans for the top?

Why not just stay with the stewmac rattle cans and finish with clear? You will probably want to spray clear over your sunburst as well.

in the middle of a burst myself... it needs clear over the color coats and you shouldn't mix finishing materials (water-born and nitro).

I expect Mr. Howard should be along shortly to expand on that.

I guess my question SHOULD have been: being that I used the zpoxy to pore fill, will I have any adhesion issues using the rattle cans of clear over the entire body after I do the burst?

I do not use nitro, but I know that z-poxy and nitro are common combinations. What I am not sure of is if you should put a coat of sealer down before the clear top coat.

I would not switch finish types in the middle of a job. That could cause all kind of trouble down the road with de lam and checking. As to sealer over z poxy? Depends, did you sand it back so it is just a pore fill? If so, yes you need sealer. If you left a coating over the entire surface than you don't need a sealer but you do need an anchor. You should prep sand at about 180, no finer than 220 and then the lacquer should stick just fine.
