I am a true fan of the nitro finish and stick with traditional grain or pore fillers. Like John H. stated, Since CA is an adhesive product and not a filler product I choose not to use CA for filling plus being concerned about adhesion and flexibility issues, I couldn't imagine the awful smell plus I would have everything in my shop glued to my guitar as well.

Thanks for participating, Sylvan.
Sylvan and I have been friends a long time and while I am a traditionalist in my building, Sylvan blends contemporary styles and methods.
A great addition here. For those who don't know Sylvan, check out his website.

Good to see you here Sylvan! Your old posts and your website have been a big help.

When using CA as a filler, do you apply the CA to the paper towel and wipe on or apply it to the guitar and spread it with the paper towel? Do you use a fan to blow the fumes away from you while applying?

Thanks again.

I just pour the glue on the body and spread it abound with the paper towel. I try to do it very quickly and leave the room because of the fumes. I have never used a fan.
