Liberon Finish

Post by Zen »

After much head headscratching I have decided to try finish my guitar with this product and would be grateful if anyone who has used it could let me know how it looks:

http://www.axminster.co.uk/liberon-libe ... prod22091/

At the moment all I have on the back and sides is one coat of sanding sealer called rustins and i have not sealed the top at all as i was waiting to decide which way to go

So when I came across Liberon it looked like the answer as theres no spraying involved but I do realize that french polishing needs practice as well so will have to try lots of scrap pieces first etc

Any suggestions?

Thanks

The best advise I could give would be to watch Robbie O'Brien's on line french polish course.

I included a thread of the last time I french polished an instrument. I used u-beaut on that guitar but the technique is the same. On the second page I think I have a description.
