Loose Bridge Pins

I bought a greg bennett D-1 on craigslist (very inexpensive) for a "beater", around the campfire etc. I bought a set of new bridge pins because the ones on it were set pretty deep. When putting new strings on it the new ones weren't any tighter, actually couldn't get them to stay in place. Used the old ones but they are barely holding. Soooo... Oversized bridge pins, repair/re-ream pin holes in the bridge, duct tape, weld them or turn it into a planter???!!

Thanks for any thoughts or ideas, Steve

I use a q tip and apply a coat of CA to the pin or the bridge. Which ever works best for you. Thanks go to Frank Ford, he uses this on end pins also.
