latest conversion
this one is interesting. I took it in years ago in trade for work I had done. The neck block had to have been replaced as was the top. So I had to undo a lot of ugly work. It is becoming a D45.
Side crack repair was redone , neck block replaced, kerfing and side support ribbons redone. it is now ready for binding ,

That instrument has been through a lot. Looks like nice wood (Brazilian?). I look forward to seeing this resurrection as you move forward. That guitar is very lucky its in your capable hands. Thanks for another interesting post!

BTW, my old college beater is in worse shape and left for dead in dismembered parts but this inspires me to try and Dr. Frankenstein it!
