Re: headstock repair
getting closer Today I put on the top and back veneers. The head plate was originally .620 so I thinned the head plate so I could put a back veneer on. I also took some off the top so I could thicken the top veneer. These veneers hide the work underneath but will also add a great deal of strength to the repair. I stained the back so I can see if the color matches. Still have some finish sanding to do but feel good about the color.

Re: headstock repair
got this strung up today object was to keep it old looking so no gloss up. The guitar sounds very good the refret helped with the playability , the veneer tie ins made the repair tight. My customer is very pleased.
