ok, so i have and old LP style electric kit guitar past on to me from my late grandfather a few years ago. I believe the kit was really the guts, and plans because my grandfather was a master craftsman carpenter. I think he cut the body and neck from black walnut, inlaid bamboo around the body edges, and inlaid his initial in the fret. my grandmother tells me that he built the kit between 1960-65.
any ideas what maker the kit could be from?

Pictures may help. Many kit companies went in and out of business , but someone may be able to help. Looking forward to seeing the pictures.
