got one in for a reset. I will be doing a video on it but here is the nutshell
they used the Cupiano joint with 2 tapered pins. Froggy Bottom also used these. The joint is strong
but can be tricky.
In the photos you can see the basic design. I used a nipper to try and get the one pin out , it broke then my 6 in hemostat did the trick

the Dummy neck block is set up so when I make the angle adjustment I can plug and drill the new hole position. They used a 3 degree taper

You must have had the back off to have access to the side of the neck block where the pins went through?

This is the method described in the Cumpiano and Natelson book (at least the edition I have), and they say they learned it from Gurian. More recently, Cumpiano has changed to a bolted mortise and tenon neck joint. I've wondered how it would be to work on one of these, and I know of several Gurians near me, so I am watching this with interest. Bruce W.

no did not pull the back and to be honest it went pretty well. This is the 3rd reset with pins.
