New from NH

Good evening all,
New to the board here, with guitar no. 2 in progress.
No. 1 was a StewMac dreadnought for my son's HS graduation eight years ago.
No. 2 is a beautiful D35 from John at Blues Creek. This one is for a dear friend who is re-fighting cancer after 14 years.
Progress is plodding along with rims glued and kerfed linings installed. Just started bracing the top this evening.
My first experience with a home-built gobar deck - much better than clamps!
Have found the forum to be full of a lot of good information. John has been patient as a saint with my incessant questions as I reacquaint myself with the process.
Best to all.
