I've been playing guitar for 40 years (I started when I was "minus 15" years old... ), and have built a few electric guitar kits from Warmoth. I really enjoyed that level of kit, and have been wanting to try something more challenging for years. I once convinced a well known luthier (Bill Moll) to make me a partial kit of his low-end laminated archtop - really I just did the final assembly plus shaping some ebony parts (like the ebony pickup mounting ring). This was another enjoyable experience, which made me want to do a little more...

I recently found a luthier (Ron Lucca) who makes archtop guitar kits, and will customize the kit to leave as much (or little) left to do as you want. Ron is also a top notch jazz guitarist, who has headlined in Vegas when he was younger - seems like a very interesting guy. So, I'm taking the plunge and ordering a partial archtop kit from him...

Wish me luck... :-)

What would your name be so we don't have to call you "hey there".
And say, you wouldn't happen to know a little ol lady from................?
