Hello from Wash DC
Hello from Wash DC
Wanted to say hi, I've been lurking for awhile and decided to join. I play the guitar, ukulele, and a mandolin I just finished building last week. I am currently working on a Saga LC-10 and the spray painting finishing process is killing me. I know now I should have left it natural or used tru-oil but that's what they call experience right..... The mandolin build went pretty good and it sounds good - I don't know how to play it yet but looking forward to learning how.
I have no prior woodworking experience and all I have is a small hacksaw, file, and lots of sandpaper - who knew there were so many grades of it!!!.... I went to the local woodworking shop for mando but for the guitar I just need to finish the finish and put it together.
I'm looking forward to learning more about kits here.
