Hi All,
My name is Brian. I've been a musician most of my life and when I retired started woodworking as a way to keep my sanity. Primarily a bass player but also play guitar and started building basses a few years back to use personally. From there I built some Strat's and Tele's and as I continue to learn have become much more interested in building acoustics.

Thankfully I stumbled upon this forum today and registered immediately. I have already gotten so much useful information and inspiration from your posts that I wanted to thank you all for so freely sharing your knowledge and insights!

I live up in the central valley in Visalia.
been building for about 17 years, currently working on #23 acoustic. I'm not building perfect guitars but I have a good time.

I am down here in the South Bay in LA. That's awesome that you are on #23! I hope I can get to that point one of these days!

Ah. I lived in Torrance and Redondo Beach in the mid 50's to 1964 as a kid. Spent alot of time on the Torrance beach.

Just get started and you'll be at #20 before you know it!
