Hello, my given name is Garin. I'm looking at dreadnaught kits for my first acoustic. I do all my own setup, maintenece and repair, and for several friends also. I need a good acoustic and can't seem to find anything in my area that isn't either : horrible sounding, a challenge to play, or sounds like crap when pugged in, unless it's one I need a bank loan to get. A friend has a Guild D-45 and I love it. It plays like my electric, sounds beautiful, and looks great. He said he will do my MOP inlays. I do have woodworking skills, have assembled electrics, and I'm gathering the last few parts for a double neck lap steel build. I will post some pics.
