Useful Ready-made Rosettes

Post by Stray Feathers »

I was on the hunt for interesting ukulele rosettes that might be quicker and easier than trying to bend purflings to small radii, and not having much luck with conventional sources. Then I came across some at Australian Luthier Supplies (I have no connection to the company):

They were just the sort of thing I was looking for to add a little variety, but be quick to use (I've just started three more tenor ukes). They are available in several styles, with different ones available in one or more uke sizes. Two of the ones in the photos are for tenor, the larger one might be better for baritone, and the smaller one is for concert, but I think will work for tenor. Prices seemed a little high, but they offer a 25% discount for three or more assorted, guitar or uke (I bought some different guitar rosettes too), and if your order is over $100AUD they ship internationally free, which was very fast.
