Glue for mixed binding/purfling?

I’m doing wood (walnut) binding on the oak guitar I’m working on, with a thin B/W purfling line.
I’ve seen recommendations for glues for different materials, but what about cases like this where you have a mix of material being used?
I’m using Duco cement but wondered what others used in cases like this.

when in doubt do a test let clamped overnight and check for failure

I have been using CA for the last 4 instruments and am very happy with it. It works on wood, all kinds of plastics, and shell. It allows for a perfect installation of the binding/purfling/rosette because you don't introduce the glue until things are sitting perfectly. I always seemed to have a plastic swelling problem with Duco that was funky to deal with, but it holds fine with all materials too.

I've used ca glue too, and it works great, but make sure that any spruce is sealed first. Otherwise you get a nasty yellow color from the ca glue.

CA when doing poly will set that in with CA

use thin tape to help control ca spills
