Woodsong Bevel tops

Hi all,

I came across this guitar company while researching zero glide nuts. They have a different take on this ergo top. There is no bevel. It looks like they bent it.

Wouldn't this change your tone with that level of bend on a soundboard? What do you guys think? It looks great for playability but from the videos I have not been impressed with the sound.

Best regards,

Michael

The bevel is in fact an arch in the top. Yes that will change the way the top gets loaded. Also the Zero fret has been around a long time. The bridge doctor bracing also can effect the top and the way it works. I have used them on lower end guitars for top bulges.
I am sure this is a good guitar. I don't know this builder and won't judge his work but I am sure like everyone else it works for him.

John-Go back to that Woodsong website and look at the models where you see the pricing. These instruments are not from a custom builder. More likely factory Chinese. I'll bet those tops are in fact bent.--Bob

thanks Bob
your right
this is typical Chinese product . I just saw a few nice pictures. After looking it is product that is mass produced. I wouldn't want one .
