Best glue for attaching purfling to binding before bending?

From your experiences, what glues have you found to work best when attaching wood purfling strips to wood binding prior to bending the bindings?
I have used LMI white glue and Titebond Translucent in the past when attaching black fibre purfling to wood binding with pretty good success but on occasion I've had some de-lamination during the bending process at the tight bend of the waist. I'm hoping to eliminate this.
I will be attaching a .030" red and .022" black dyed wood purfling strips to curly maple. I figure I'll have to bend at around 250 to 280 degrees at a mininum.
What do you all suggest?
Thanks.

Kevin

I have mostly used lmi and CA, mostly without issue. I have read that titebond 2 is more heat resistant and in this instance would be a good choice. I have not tried it.

I always bend two binding\purfling stacks together purfling to purfling, tightly taped. That way they will re-laminate when the glue cools.

I have never done it before but on another forum it was suggested that Titebond 3 could be used. I plan to try it in the near future. Personally I would also like to hear more from the pros on here about their experience.

I have been using Titebond III for this application. I find that it does not delaminate while bending in my Fox bender. It is the only application that I use it for but it works very well. Good luck!

Sylvan, I believe I will go with the Titebond III and give it a go. My understanding is it is more heat resistant.
