beautiful soft maple

I just got a tree that has the prettiest quilted and birdseye . I cut it into inch thick slabs 12" across. the longest is only 16".

anthing I can do with this?

here are 3 pixs of 3 sides of a piece. I send the 3 side to show how pretty it is from each angle.
Wish I would have know that I would have tried to get them to cut me some longer pieces (they were removing the tree from a neighbors yard and cutting it into short chunks to carry.

Nice grain...but sorry ...me doubt you gonna even get a violin out of it.

Good for head plates, heal caps, possibly bridges....you know small bits and pieces.

if it would have been bigger , say 24" long. what could I have done with it for a guitar. is soft maple ok for the top ? I dont think its strong enough of the back and sides is it?
