Once we are to the point of stringing up the guitar there are some basics you have to follow for the best playability. You can get a set up amazingly low if you mind the details.
1st you have to dress the frets to get the plan of the top of the frets to fit the guitar.
I so this with a black sharpie a flat diamond sharping stone a fret dresser and fret protector with a cork pad and 3200 micro mesh.
So here in this picture I have marked the frets. You work up and down the neck until the top of the fret is clean of the black like. Remember that you have to take it all to get that last point off.

Now that the frets are level I have to crown them. I prefer the diamond files.
Again I mark the frets and the key here is to work the file from one side of the fret and then the other. I want to let just a fine line of marker on the top.

now that the frets are recrowned I then polish them with the cork and micro mesh, I also hit it with 0000 steel wool when I am all done. I use a fret protector and just rub away. You want to clean off all the ink and make them shiney.
now you can string it up You will find that if you take the time you can get a nice action.
I will start at a 2/32 in on 1st and 3/32 in 6th , then take it down 1/64 till you get a buzz.
