I'm looking for some advice. I got the top glued on my Stew-Mac dread kit and thought I'd take a look at how the bolt-on neck would look. Unfortunately, the neck is 3/64" below the top instead of being flush with the top. Needless to say there's a gap when I hold the fretboard to the neck and guitar body.
Any advice on how I can fix this? My first thought is to elongate the holes upward by 3/64" but I don't know if this is a good idea or not. What's the best way to fix this?
Thanks for any advice!
Tim
