Conversions

I have found that restoring an old guitar that is in bad shape and converting them to 1937 specs has become something I have become pretty good at. Here is the link to the last 2 conversions. One was picked up Saturday. They are as to spec as possible . I even get the purflings made to 1937 spec. All Hot Hide Glue construction.
I will say that I do not tear apart a good guitar. In all cases they have been damaged and needed extensive work. Here is the process in detail .
Martin gave me access to guitars in the museum and archives to get the details right. It has been a lot of fun for me . Wayne Henderson , David Musselwhite also had guitars that I could document for the process.
