Dovetail pore filling handle
Does anyone have a good way to build a handle for a dovetail to use in a vise? M&T is easy, DT not so much. I use Martin DT cuts. Pics would be nice.

I don't think you want anything to do with my dovetails.

I love dovetails. My Pop was a cabinet maker and I cut a lot of them growing up

Re: Dovetail pore filling handle
I want to be able to attach a handle in the dovetail joint of a guitar body so I can anchor it in a vise as I'm pore filling (I use System 3 epoxy) and be able to turn as I working on the back or sides. Like in the picture (but that one is an M&T joint).

Re: Dovetail pore filling handle
I have a vacuum clamp and before than I made a body clamp out of 2 large Ls covers in carpet attached to a workmate.
I don't trust neck attachments , it they pop loose , gravity takes over.

Yeah, vacuum clamp. There was an article in the last guitar maker on how to make one. I have vac system for bracing. That's the ticket. Thanks John. Now I'm off to buy some gasket material and connections.
