Working on #2, which will be a John How-inspired, ladder braced Parlor. LMI kit, first scratch neck with kerf joint (success!), first rosette (homebuilt jig worked like a charm). I'm liking it so far, tap tone is nice and reverbey with good sustain. Something like 2-3 secs. Still have to attach a small maple bridge plate as reinforcement for the string ends.

Brace hieghts are 11/16 for the lower bout, 5/8 for the front two, tapering toward the ends. Upper bout braces will be tucked, but not the lower bout. Some cosmetic issues with my brace carving in a few places, but nothing I can't live with. I really have to stop violating the one beer rule for heading to the garage to work on the guitar.

It's kind of fun doing something totally different. Not knowing what to expect from tap tone, guessing at forces and strength. How deep do y'all think I can go with a Parlor. 4 inches?
