If anyone at all is interested in some electric guitar necks and bodies, I have both available.

Right now for electric guitar blanks, I have 1 piece walnut blanks I'd be willing to sell since I have more than I can use quickly. This woods been air dried for nearly 2 years to get down to just under 20% EMC, and then kiln dried for weeks to get to 6-8% EMC. The blanks I have are 14" and 15" wide, 1 3/4" thick.

I'm also starting to build electric guitars, if anyone is interested in a pre-made body/neck set I'll be more than willing to talk about building a guitar that's ready to finish with all holes drilled ready to be assembled.

I just started building a few strats out of the same walnut that I have available now, and they'll be paired with some really cool sycamore with great figured necks. As soon as I get some progress going on those, I'll post pictures to show examples of the Walnut that I have.

As far as custom pre-made bodies go, I'm trying to keep productively busy, so taking commissions for electric guitars, necks, and bodies is going to be a positive way to spend my time. With that said, my pricing would be extremely competitive, and if anyones interested I'm more than willing to go out and hand pick a specific piece of wood to build with from the tonewood resources in the Minneapolis area.

Here's a picture after a short days progress from yesterday. I resawed a sycamore piece to get just over 1" thick slab to cut 2 necks out of, they will be fender style with the fingerboard 1 piece with the neck its self.

The bodies are an example of the walnut blanks that I have. Pretty beefy electrics seeing as how it's much heftier than alder, but after doing research I found Fender toys with all walnut bodies/necks frequently and there's definitely buyers looking for them. After seeing 2 Walnut strats priced at 2500 and 4000 dollars, I decided people aren't scared off too badly buy weight with a price tag like that. I'll be building with pricing very comparable to lower end American strats.

My plans for these 2 is basically all wood and natural coloring. The finish, assuming I get as far as the finish before a buyer comes along, will be either a clear nitro or a very very suddle sunburst, darkening the edges, and mostly relying of the natural color of the walnut. I'm also going to be toying with the ideal of making curly maple strat pickgaurds that will work with out moving too much and bowing up off of the body, seeing as how much thin wood tends to move. Also, I'm going to make a set of walnut pickup covers for single coils for these guitars, can't gaurentee they will last for ever, but they'll be backed with a plastic set, just incase.

Anyhow, I've got a violin, cello, 3 acoustics, and now 2 electrics in the works, so no gaurentees these builds will go overly quickly, but they will definitely get built, and as soon as these guitars are built, not necessarily finished, I will be starting up some Tele thinlines. I've got more than enough walnut blanks to build for a while, so I'm going to go a bit electric crazy.
