I want to drill tuner holes in my slotted headstock. A little uncertain as to the procedure. I need pictures, pictures are good :-)

I drill holes while the guitar is in the white. I use a milling machine but since you may not have that , a drill press is my 2ns option. Clamp in and mark out your position. In a slot head , with it finished , you can really help yourself if you make a block to fit the slot. This may not control all the tear out but can help.
Tape the area of hole , both in and out feed . Use a sharp bit . Drill a pilot hole first and make the depth you need with tape on your drill bit if you don't have a stop set .
take your time and things should work out fine.
