What started were plans for an OLF SJ that has taken a different twist. Trying to bend the side Australian Blkwd proved to be difficult for me using a bending iron. They cracked, so Tippie did bent them for me on another side set I sent him. TY John!
Radiusing the top with 28 ft dish (OLF spec) & again it splintered & torn a piece off the top edge. Had no choice but to plane/sand the sides down. It’s not as deep now which is OK by m, as a I like a ‘not so deep’ acoustic. More in keeping with OM’s or 0000 depth

Template with bracing lines drawn is orig OLF design. Per Tippies suggestion, I rearranged the top bracing that I’m about to do. Top is Sinker Rdwd. Don't look at it, it might split on you
The neck, not sure what it will be. I have a number to choose from…Need to radius the back, but I only have 20 ft @ 15 ft dishes. OLF spec is 25 ft dish...?
Sides Height: Heel 3 1/16” - Tail 3 3/4” ~ Back is already braced & all bracing is Adirondack…
