Fingerboard too narrow--oops

Thanks to all for taking the time to suggest solutions.

How hard is it going to be to get that fretboard off again as I dont have one of those irons that stewmac sell for just this very job.

Thankfully the fretboard is not fretted but it could be tricky enough getting it off although I did use titebond when gluing.

a cloths iron for heat set to med and flexible putty knives will really help. Allow the heat time to penetrate

Took the fretboard off again with no problems. But, of course I'm now left with a neck thats probably too slim for the correct size fretboard.
I may just start all over again.

A guitar builder once told me --there are no mistakes in Lutherie--only possibilities !! Right now I'm thinking this is a big "Possibility" ha ha
