Building style seems to be a major factor (if not the main).

However, you also just posted a tip about using a completely different glue (than your norm?) for Cocobolo.
There obviously are other factors that come into play. Thus, any useful study may need to compare various species as well (FWW used only three, which may not be enough for lutherie?).

How do I find my way back out of this rabbit hole?
