That fixture is nice. Has anyone done something like this, but mounted on a shaft so that you can spin it as needed? I thought I saw a video with such a clamp (maybe by O'brien?).
A homemade version would be awesome!

In the old days there was as insert in a Martin neck block that had a threaded insert. Now that insert is used to screw itto the finish line chain to go through the finish booth. ( booth is automated ) The old handle was just a wooden handle that threaded in and could be used to hang the body for finish.
If you ever get the opportunity to take an older martin apart , the handle for the neck was actually glued onto the neck with a paper separator that eased separation of the handle from the neck for assembly.
