John, it looks like it's coming together nicely, but I'm sure not quite fast enough for you!

Me? I am as patient as they come. I am getting really excited. I picked out a dust collection system. ClearView is just about 20 minutes form where I live so I am getting a dust collection system from them. I am still deciding on the spray booth and the cabinets and shelving that I want.

I just love working on this stuff...

Just around the corner of this room is a kitchenet. Come next year my wife and I are empty nesters. I get to take over the teens hangout just outside of my new shop.

The cave is finally starting to resemble a room. The wall seen in the first photo will have 12 feet of cabinets, a closet for the dust collection system and in the corner just past the pipe, where the room kicks back five feet I will have a small spray room.
I am getting impatient as I probably have about four more weeks to go.

Aren't you going to scallop the studs ? Also if you want it to sound better you should be using Hot hide Glue and tuck the studs. I assume you tap toned all the spruce ?

Does that other doorway lead to a storage room?

The first picture is take from the main doorway into the room. Which is actully on the end of a large existion stroage closet.

The door in the second picture, is just a way to have access into the rest of the crawl space. The is almost no need to get in, so I will mostly treat that door as a wall.
