Bummer....I managed to break the pearl and now I have 3 pieces. Clumsy!
I don´t know how to solve it, but at least I have the loggo on the computer

While I'm thinking of a solution of that new problem, I´ll show you a few pics of my first build.

Your guitar is looking really good. I don't think it is much of a problem with your inlay, super glue will hide any breaks.

I think those spots were probably going to break no matter how careful you are.

Like Kevin said, just press on. It shouldn't have any effect on the final outcome.

you can super glue them back together. Getting pearl off the tape can be tricky .

I've seen where people have used dental picks (some are straight) for scoring the headplate or the receiving surface, because they get closer than pencils or exacto knives.
But, as was said previously, there's any number of good ways to do it.
