I got the wood in for my new build last week. At the time, I could swear that the sides were cut straight, but it appears this morning as if they have started curving in with the grain. Luckily, my side template still fits on the slats, but my concern is that they could possibly shift back if I make a new straight edge for the top side.
Any words of wisdom before I cut them to shape and bend them? I feel that as long as I cut and bend them, and then get the blocks and lining glued in short order, then it won't move much after that. Thanks.

Re: Warped Side Set
It looks like a humidity issue to me. I cut the side shape before bending, which makes the sides match again. My workshop is humidity controlled and I allow all wood to acclimate for a couple of weeks or longer, so once they're cut, it's not an issue anymore. Then I bend.
