sanding binding

My martin kit comes with plastic white binding.
Can that be sanded? and still stay bright white?

you want to scrap this . When you set the binding you want to rout it so you sand the sides to the binding not binding lowered to the sides.
In the end yes you can sand it but you want to scrape it for finish. . I need to do a video on this.
