ernieball earthwound question
I am nearly finished fixing my acoustic , i have lowered the saddle and lowered the bridge still a little more to do but i am waiting for my new strings, I normally use ernieball earth wound lights 52-11, first off what i need to know is ruffly what tension in lbs these strings put on the guitar, as I am trying some newtone heritage series strings 47-11 (114lbs). plays better now not far off when I first got it, secondly will these strings have any adverse effects on my guitar, I love this guitar its my old pal and want to give it a longer life as its at the 17 year mark and hope the tentson reduction will keep it for another 17 years.

Thanks looks like going by those charts i will have a good decrease in tension on my neck, will finely adjust the saddle and bridge a bit more, my acoustic is just a smidge above from when i first got it. was going to buy a new one last week, Think i will wait till spring now.
