I made a different fretboard to day in my class and thought you may like to see this.
Ebony slotted and radiused for a 16 in rad.
I put slots at a 45 degree angle using a 24 degree block. While I used my milling machine you can see the design and the end result.
I used bloodwood to tie in the binding and rosette. I slotted these a 3/32 and made the cut longer as I went down the board. I then cut wedges of bloodwood I have thinned to match the width of the slot and super glued them in. I then trimmed on the band saw and sanded to finish.
